Ridiculous. That is the one and only way to describe the changes in the Marvel cinematic universe. At the D23 Expo on Saturday, Tom Holland and Kevin Feige revealed that the MCU wouldn’t be making the next Spider-Man movie because Disney couldn’t come to an agreement about the production of the movie. Tom Holland will still be playing the beloved web-slinger but he won't be playing the character for the MCU. Sony Pictures will now be in charge of the production of future Spider-Man movies. Kevin Feige is sad to see spiderman go back to Sony but he admits he never thought Marvel’s ownership of the Spider-Man would last forever.
