Although there were many great television shows in 2015, we are going to highlight the top 10.

Starting at number 10 is "Parks and Recreation." "Parks and Rec" came out April 9, 2009 and concluded on Feb. 24, 2015. The directors and writers of this show actually used real life events that were happening as plots in their show.

Number 9 goes to "Mad Men," which aired from July 19, 2007 to its final episode on May 17, 2015. Mad Men has won many awards, such as 16 Emmys and 4 Golden Globes.

Number 8 is "The Walking Dead," first premiered on Oct. 31, 2010 and is still running and is renewed for season 7. “I love the special effects and the amount of effort the makeup artists use to bring the zombies to life,” said Taylor Benoit.

Number 7 is "The Americans" aired Jan. 30, 2013 and is said to have its fourth season come out in March 2016. "The Americans" was created and created by former CIA officer Joe Weisberg.

Number 6 is "Better Call Saul." It first aired on Feb. 8th 2015, and in June 2015 a second season was ordered and will premiere on February 15th 2016. "Better Call Saul" is actually a spinoff of "Breaking Bad" and is set 6 years that show.

Number 5 is "Master of None," which was released for streaming on Nov. 6, 2015 and is said to continue in 2016. The name Master of None came from the phrase “Jack of all trades, Master of none.”

Number 4 is "Jessica Jones," which came out on Nov. 20, 2015. It recently came out on Netflix and has already gained so many fans. Development for "Jessica Jones" was first developed in 2010 but was put aside and eventually passed on by late 2013.

Number 3 is "Empire," it first aired on Jan. 7, 2015 and is already signed on for the next two seasons.
"Empire" has won many awards, including American Film Institute, BET Award, and Hollywood Music in Media Award.

Number 2 is "The Leftovers." It first aired on Oct. 4, 2015, and on December 10th 2015 it was renewed for a third and final season. "The Leftovers" is based on Perrotta’s novel, which has the same title.

Topping of the charts at number 1 is "Mr. Robot," which first aired Jan. 22, 2014. Before the first season premiered it was already signed on for the second season. Mr. Robot has been nominated for several major awards such as 73rd Golden Globe Award, 2015 SXSW Film Audience Award, and 25th Gotham Independent Film Award.
