Lot of people go on vacation to somewhere, hangout with their friends, go to the beach, study, work, etc.
Depending on what they do, their break would be fun, stressful or boring.
Sophomore Cydney Custer said, “This summer break I’m really looking forward to hanging out with my friends and boyfriend. I really want this summer to be fun and not too stressful with my job. This summer I will be at the beach 95% of the time.”
Older teens don't worry as much about boredom for several reasons. For example, they have more freedom.
Senior Caroline Morris said, “I think my summer break will be fun because I will be going to a bunch of fun places. I drive and I can go wherever I want whenever I want. It does give me more freedom. Over summer break I am planning to travel a lot.”
If you'll be spending time alone this summer, here are some ideas from your fellow students:
Junior Morgan Marlow said, “I would recommend going to the beach or the river. Over summer I am planning to go to the beach everyday. I think my summer break will be fun because I get to spend it with my friends. I drive as well. So I can be free to go where I want.”
Freshman Ashley Vivar said, “I would recommend to go to the beach, go shopping, read a book, challenge yourself to do something new. I am planning to go to Maryland to spend time with my dad’s side of the family. I think It’s going to be fun because I have not seed my cousins in 3 years and they’re going to be fun.”
Sophomore Austin Demo said “There are a lot of things to do for fun. You can do them as long as you are not getting in trouble. I am planning to lift my weights, go to the beach, hangout with my friends, spend time with my family and play video games. It is going to be fun. No school- get to relax and chill.”
Summer is a time for chilling out, not stressing out. Have fun!
