Franks Theater is one of the most popular hangouts for teenagers. They usually go there to either hang with friends, smoke, drink, or just to go and fight someone that they have beef with.
A while ago the theater had a 9 o’clock curfew rule in which if you aren't 21 or older, and aren't occupied by an adult you would be asked to leave. They recently brought this back about 2 weeks ago.

Junior Will Munser said “I am never going back to Franks, their rules are stupid.”

I 100 percent agree with him these rules that Franks are making are getting out of hand, and need to change. It just continues to lose them business.

Another rule that I hear a lot of people getting frustrated over is the no outside bag, and outside food in Franks. Security guard Bret said “We have that rule, because people may have drugs or something of that sort inside the bag.”

He made a good point I have to say, but still this frustrates many people. These rules are just going to continue to lose them business.

Franks Theater is already in debt over $201, 363. The last thing they need is to be making rules that aggravate. Franks agreed to a contract for a 20 year lease that was signed in 2011.
The owner of the mall is suing Franks Theater for the money that they owe.

This isn't the first time they failed to pay their lease either. They missed a payment of $590,672.
There is currently no court date scheduled.

The 33-year old shopping complex is hoping this will bring them back up on their feet. There are only a few shops remaining which consist of K-mart, JC-Penny, Belks, Stein Mart, and a few more. All of the other spots available in the shopping center are empty.

  7. I can see why Frank's might feel the need to create rules but if they go to that extreme, it probably will not be beneficial to their business.
