With a new year comes a new semester. Almost all classes for each student here at St. James will be changing. The EOC’s are being passed and a lot and students are moving on in high school.

With new classes comes a new sport to be a part of or cheer for. The new sports for 2011 are boys’ and girls’ track, boy’s and girls’ soccer, baseball and softball. Hopefully this year we will be good in all of our sports with possibly a few more championship banners and trophies being presented.

Spring football training will be here before you know it so football players get ready for football season of 2011! The deal is if you’re doing well in your classes then you can play your sport. Our track teams are really great along with our softball team! This year is going by way to fast and for the seniors this is the final act. They are moving on in life and becoming adults!

High school is to get you ready for life in the future and everyone should be excited to get their new classes and be happy its time for a change! As for the rest of us we still have a couple years left in high school, so study and pass all your classes and come by to support our 2011 spring sports!

  1. I don't want to change my classes, the only thing i dont like about coming to the end of a semester is all the EOC's, theyre very stressfull.

  5. McKayla I am always appreciative of these transition type stories on switching semesters and what not. Students getting a new class is certainly news. Plus exams are always worth the write up, that could get some real interested readers. It even had a cool sports aspect, when you were talking about the upcoming sport seasons, that gave this story a feeling of being whole. I know you're not back in here this semester, but I want you to know your articles were great, and once a Shark Attack writer always a Shark Attack writer! You're welcome back anytime!
