The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

by Bryan Dean
Ever been a fan of the beloved Lord of the Rings trilogy? Well, after much speculation and rumor the story of where it all began is finally hitting the big screen. Taking place before the great adventures of Frodo Baggins, Bilbo Baggins endures an unexpected journey that will change his life and Middle Earth forever.

Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit who is encountered by Gandalf the Grey and thirteen dwarves is thrown into a dangerous and important mission: to reclaim the lost Dwarf kingdom from the mighty dragon named Smaug. On this journey they are accompanied by the legendary warrior Thorin Oakenshield.

Like the Lord of the Rings films The Hobbit is under the direction of Peter Jackson. There is much hype surrounding the current production of the film and it is sure to pack a punch in the box office!

The Hobbit features all of the acclaimed actors that we know and love from the Lord of the Rings films including: Ian McKellen, Orlando Bloom, Hugo Weaving, and Andy Serkis.

It is rumored that The Hobbit will be made into a two-part movie contract which is surely to be an epic film ending a memorable year! Fans are holding high expectations for this upcoming film and are very excited for the release of this film. Lord of the Rings fans will be sure to see The Hobbit and it will be something you will not want to miss.

“I have higher expectations for The Hobbit than the Lord of the Rings movies because it has been so long since they made “Return of the King.” I hope it meets my exceedingly high unquenchable expectations,” said Charlie Sabella.

Filming is still in progress in New Zealand right where the Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed and adapted.

“I am so excited for that. I read the Hobbit in seventh grade. I loved it! I’m pumped!” said Jessica Ann Hughes.

I'm a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings series. It's crazy how long it's been since the last movie was released. Can't wait!

I loved the Lord of the Rings series, I'm kind of a geek when it comes to that stuff, and I'm proud of it! Great article Bryan!

I've never really seen too much of the Lord of the Rings series but what I saw of it was good. Great job Bryan.
